The following poems (first lines) are included in the manuscript.  All were written while I was in Thailand 1983-84:

A Walk in Bangkok
Beached along the shore...
Early Morning Glow
Like the quiet, the human...
The Sound of Gulls
There's nothing like the sea...
Umbrella, umbrella...
A new road...
Stopping for the moment...
Monsoon
The Mosque
Mysteries of the ocean,
Patterns in my mind
Phantoms of the Marshland
Phantom good-night
She rests upon courageous rocks...
Mango, sweet mango what's mine...
Morass of the Morning
Mynahs on a fallen palm...
How silly is flesh...
God Bless this little stubborn heart...
How deeply falls a hidden tear...
We are like driftwood...
Who froze this little heart?
You say she's very nice...
Sweet precocious little nervousness...
It's a sherbet flavored sunset...
You, a flower in my heart...
I am a fly
I want to be close to you...
I'm stuck in this choice I made...
It just hit me
I've been where I'm not...
By every midnight fallen...
